Learn to Paint Portraits
…helping you to identify colours that are useful for creating flesh tones and developing your colour mixing skills and knowledge
…showing you how to build up layers of colour and understanding the need for those darker tones to create form and contrast, also looking at glazing techniques to define areas of highlight and shadow
…understanding the importance of making a connection with the eyes and the features surrounding them to suggest emotion and expression.
Adding Figures
…helping you to simplify the human form and look at details that can help you create realistic figures through their posture and indication of movement
…looking at scale & proportion and spatial relationships with methods to help you place figures successfully in the scene
